School Registration Information

 

Prior to registration families must complete the “Annual Family Update” online beginning July 15th, as well as pay their mandatory school fees at https://payonline.dpsk12.org/. For additional information on how to complete these items, please visit our website at htec.dpsk12.org.

We are PAPERLESS!
No registration packets will be mailed out this year. This year registration materials (known as  the Annual Family Update) needs to be completed online prior to the day of registration.  In order to complete registration online, you will need to have a Parent Portal account.  The window for Annual Family Update starts July 15th and you can complete online registration  once the window opens.

Families should also pay their child’s Mandatory School and Senior (if applicable) Fees ONLINE prior to registration. Other course-specific and outstanding fees can be paid on the day of registration with cash or credit card. For a list of the required fees for 2019-2020 school year, please click here.

What Can You Expect on the Day of Registration?
—Long lines are anticipated. We have a short window to intake at least 250 families. Please do not expect an in and out. Please plan for at least 1 hour. Thank you for your patience.

—We will verify that your Annual Family Update is Complete using our online system.

—You will sign your child’s MyTech Chromebook agreement so that he/she may receive his/her Chromebook during the first week of school, allowing no interruption to their learning.

—Verify that your fees are paid and then pay any additional fees for your child.

—Sign Up/Register for Athletics. Please make sure your child has an up to date physical signed by his/her doctor.

—Review your child’s schedule (NOTE: Students should not check on their completed schedule in Student Portal until the evening of August 6th.)

—Complete your child’s lunch form for the 2019-2020 school year. If you have already completed this important step, please be prepared to verify this by showing your emailed receipt that this is complete. Even if you do not qualify for free or reduced lunch, we do ask that you complete it as a courtesy to us, as the district tracks the completion rates of our school and this impacts our funding dramatically. It only takes 3 minutes to complete.

—Sign up for valuable resources such as the Denver Health Clinic and the Denver Scholarship Foundation’s Trios program.

—Receive your child’s social calendar (list of important events throughout the year) and our Family and Community Engagement and Parent Training Calendar.
