Mr. Stober grew up in Florida, where he studied electrical engineering at the University of Florida, earning Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. After graduating in 2009 he determined the corporate life wouldn’t fulfill his need to help our youth develop, so he enrolled in Teach For America and moved to Denver, where he taught math at an alternative school for the next ten years. In 2019, Mr. Stober earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and joined the team at Northeast Early College teaching computer science and robotics. He also mentors the Robo-Lobo-Bellos, the school’s First Robotics Competition team, and can often be found playing video games with his students in the computer science lab at lunch. Mr. Stober is Venezuelan-American and speaks Spanish. He lives in east Denver with his sons, Javier and Santiago. He’s an avid world traveler and outdoor adventurer, and also enjoys reading, board games, campfire singalongs, and escape rooms. As an avid environmentalist, he bikes everywhere – please be careful not to run him over on your way to school in the morning!
