Dear NEC Families,
We are thrilled to announce that NEC has partnered with Tutored by Teachers to provide dedicated SAT preparation for our 11th-grade students! Thanks to Denver Public Schools (DPS), this incredible opportunity will help our students prepare for the SAT this April.
To ensure students stay on track with their graduation requirements, tutoring sessions are scheduled only during one class period on Tuesdays and Fridays. Students will see two classes listed for this period on their schedule and should report to Room A104 when their schedule notes “Student Engagement.” Students will attend their regular classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. These tutoring sessions will continue weekly from January through April 11.
Each student will receive individualized tutoring based on their October SAT practice test results, allowing for targeted support in areas that need improvement.
We strongly encourage students to attend every session, as this focused instruction can help them achieve growth on the upcoming SAT!
