Ty Calanni (he/him/his) is an adjunct professor and Audio Music Production CTE teacher. He started at NEC in 2021. Ty started performing, composing, and recording music in high school. In college he received an internship at an independent record label and worked his way up to head audio engineer where he achieved 3 singles in the top 20 on the Texas Music Chart. Most recently he produced free programs, events, and concerts at a public park in Oklahoma City highlighted by 30,000 guests at opening weekend. He is a graduate of the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. There has never been more access to composing and recording music than today. Ty connects to the human side of education and music production, it is a collaborative art form, the art of helping others find their voice.
