JJ Smith (she/her/they/them) is going on her 2nd year at NEC. She will continue to teach our Comprehensive Health class as well as Physical Education classes. Ms. Smith will be going into her 11th year of teaching where she has previously taught at Hinkley High school, Bruce Randolph, Oakland Elementary, Boston K-8 as well as DCIS Montbello. Ms. Smith went to the University of Northern Colorado where she was a Division 1 swimmer as well earning her Bachelors Degree in Sport and Exercise Science. She is a Colorado native and enjoys spending time with her partner, 3 boys, and 3 dogs spending time outside in the beautiful Colorado sunshine. Ms. Smith is excited to continue her work with the students at NEC and the wonderful community of Montbello.
