Mrs. Muñoz was born and raised in Texas, and has lived in Denver since 2012. She is a first-generation college graduate, and knows the struggles and pressure that come with navigating college with little to no support. Mrs. Muñoz is entering her 19th year in education and holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in School Counseling. She chose Northeast Early College because of the band and ties she has with the students, parents, and community. Mrs. Muñoz is a former teacher in the Far Northeast, and truly loves being able to reconnect with her former students who are now part of her school counseling caseload! In her spare time, Mrs. Muñoz loves sports, photography, watching movies, taking care of her plants, and most of all spending time with her family! Mrs. Muñoz looks forward to getting to know her students to build meaningful relationships in order to better support them across all domains.
