Ms. Pham (She/her/hers) is an English Language Development teacher (ELD) for NEC’s Multilingual Department (MLE). Prior to being a second year 9-12th grade ELD teacher at NEC, Ms. Pham served for the United States Army because she believes in protecting, serving and giving back to her community to make the world a better place. She strives to help students realize their potential, capabilities and value every students unique identities and characteristics. Her goal is to support youths with real-life skills alongside developing their socio-emotional skills in order to be successful in and outside of school. In addition, to be college and career ready after graduation in a safe, welcoming and conducive learning environment. Ms. Pham earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education to further pursue a Masters Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Outside of being a teacher, Ms. Pham enjoys hiking and other outside activities. She embraces and loves to travel to learn about other cultures, languages, beliefs, customs and food.
