Kristopher Veo

Adjunct Professor Science

He/Him/His Mr. Veo is originally from Colorado and has also lived in other states (Texas and Wyoming) for work and school. He earned a double major in chemistry and biology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2005. He then earned his Master’s of Science in neuroscience from the University of Denver in 2009. Mr. Veo has worked in academic research science and private industry science for over a decade before changing lanes into science education. His wide variety of interactions in the science community is something he is eager to share with any student that goes to NEC HS, regardless of science interest level! Mr. Veo started at NEC HS back in 2016 and has helped grow the concurrent enrollment program by offering a Biology 105 course that satisfies the science requirement for an Associate’s degree. It is his goal to encourage all students to question the existing structures of science practice and equity and to bring their voice into the scientific community as an agent of change.
