Matt Gonzales is the assistant principal and CTE pathway director. He has been at Northeast Early College since 2022. He earned an associates of science in biology from Modesto Junior College, a bachelors of science in environmental biology and management from The University of California, Davis, and a masters in agriculture with an agriculture education specialty from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. This is Matt’s 25th year in education. He loves being at NEC because of the amazing and unique opportunities it provides its students. Matt has been married to his wife Karyn for 24 years and they have five children ranging in age from 22 – 6.
